Motion urgente sur la situation en Autriche
A la lumière de la situation actuelle en Autriche, le Congrès de la Confédération Européenne des Syndicats (CES) exprime sa pleine solidarité à la Fédération des syndicats autrichiens et aux travailleurs autrichiens.
Depuis son entrée en fonction en décembre 2017, le gouvernement de droite a mené une politique antisyndicale. Les droits sociaux ont été fortement attaqués et n’ont laissé aucune place au dialogue social. La loi sur la durée du travail a supprimé le droit des comités d’entreprise de participer au processus décisionnel concernant la durée du travail. La réforme de la sécurité sociale menace d'aggraver les services de santé fournis aux travailleurs.
Au cours de la présidence autrichienne du Conseil européen de juillet à décembre 2018, le gouvernement fédéral autrichien a été un obstacle au progrès de la politique sociale et à la mise en œuvre du Socle social.
Par conséquent, le Congrès de la CES se félicite de la fin du gouvernement de coalition autrichien et assure sa pleine solidarité à ÖGB et aux travailleurs et travailleuses autrichiens.
Le mouvement syndical européen fait campagne dans toute l'Europe, y compris en Autriche, pour l'élection de gouvernements progressistes, attachés à des valeurs démocratiques et défendant les droits des travailleurs et travailleuses, aux niveaux national et européen.
En outre, le Congrès de la CES rejette tout populisme et nationalisme de droite.

Emergency Motion on the situation in Austria
In light of the current developments in Austria, the Congress of the European Trade Union Confederation expresses its full solidarity with the Austrian Trade Union Federation and Austrian workers.
Since its inauguration in December 2017, the right-wing government has pursued an anti-union policy. Social rights were heavily attacked and did not leave any room for social dialogue. The Working Hours Act removed the right of Works Councils to be involved in decision-making on working time. The reform of social security threatens to worsen health services for working people.
During the Austrian Presidency of the European Council from July to December 2018, the Austrian Federal Government stood out as an obstacle to social policy progress and actively hindered the implementation of the Social Pillar.
Therefore, the ETUC Congress welcomes the end of the Austrian coalition government and assures its full solidarity with the ÖGB and all Austrian workers.
The European trade union movement is campaigning all over Europe, including in Austria, for the election of progressive governments, which are committed to democratic values and that support the rights of workers, at national and European level.
In addition, the ETUC Congress rejects all right-wing populism and nationalism.
Right-wing, nationalistic and populist politics exploit people’s genuine concerns. Trade unions take people's concerns seriously and fight for a social Europe.

Dringlichkeitsantrag zur Lage in Österreich
Angesichts der aktuellen Entwicklungen in Österreich drückt der Kongress des Europäischen Gewerkschaftsbunds seine volle Solidarität mit dem Österreichischen Gewerkschaftsbund und den österreichischen ArbeitnehmerInnen aus.
Die rechtsgerichtete Regierung hat von Beginn ihrer Amtszeit im Dezember 2017 eine gewerkschaftsfeindliche Politik verfolgt. Soziale Rechte wurden massiv angegriffen, es fand kein sozialer Dialog statt. Davon zeugen neben dem Aus für die Mitbestimmung im Betrieb im Zuge des neuen Arbeitszeitgesetzes, auch die drohenden Verschlechterungen in der Gesundheitsversorgung im Rahmen der Reform der Sozialversicherung.
Auch während der österreichischen EU-Ratspräsidentschaft von Juli bis Dezember 2018 hatte sich die österreichische Bundesregierung hauptsächlich als Bremser des sozialpolitischen Fortschritts und gegen die Umsetzung der Sozialen Säule hervorgetan.
Deshalb begrüßt der EGB-Kongress ausdrücklich das Ende der österreichischen Koalitionsregierung und sichert dem ÖGB und den österreichischen ArbeitnehmerInnen seine volle Solidarität zu.
Die europäische Gewerkschaftsbewegung setzt sich in ganz Europa, gerade auch in Österreich, für die Wahl fortschrittlicher Regierungen ein, die demokratischen Werten verpflichtet sind und sich für die Rechte der ArbeitnehmerInnen einsetzen, sowohl auf nationaler Ebene als auch in der Europäischen Union.
Darüber hinaus lehnt der EGB-Kongress jede Art von Rechtspopulismus und Nationalismus ab.
Rechte, nationlaistische und populistische Politik spielen mit schlechten Gefühlen. Gewerkschaften nehmen die Sorgen der Menschen ernst und kämpfen für ein soziales Europa.
