Brussels, 15 February 2023

  • To the National Officers
  • To the ad hoc group on Non Standard Work
  • To all ETUC Member organisations

Dear colleagues,

I am happy to invite you to the Conference “For fair platform work” that will take place in Brussels on 21 March 2023 from 10:00 to 16:30 (venue tbc).

Background

The conference, that takes place in the framework of our project “PlatformReps”, will be the occasion to present the activities carried out through the two years of our project. Against the background of the negotiations on the Directive to improve working conditions of platform workers, the project results will be discussed with key stakeholders from EU institutions, the academia, and relevant organisations. This will be a further contribution to the achievement of the project’s objectives, particularly those related to allowing the trade union movement to contribute to the EU Directive on improving conditions for platform workers and to support unions in the elaboration of a strategy for the swift transposition and implementation of legislation at national level.

Registration and reimbursement

The registration form is available here. Please, register by 10 March 2023 EOB. Unfortunately, for interested persons who are not located in Brussels and did not participate in the project, reimbursements are not foreseen at the moment. Should you be interested in financial support, please contact Cecilia Lazzaroni ([email protected]). The project team will do their best to help.

Looking forward to seeing you on 21 March,

In solidarity

Ludovic Voet
Confederal Secretary
