The different types of badges
The badges are colour coded to indicate the type of organisation that a person belongs to and consequently their role.
- Delegate (red – national affiliate)
- Deputy Delegate (dark blue – national affiliate)
- Delegate (green – Federation)
- Deputy Delegate (light green - Federation)
- Observer (purple)
- Guests (pink - all guests)
- Guests (light orange – VIP guests)
- Press (yellow)
- Staff (orange)
- Interpreters (grey)
Delegates shall also be provided with a voting card and also speaking request cards.
The green sticker and GDPR
The ETUC has contracted photographers and video operators to record this Congress. The images may be used in current and/or future print and digital communications including the ETUC website, publications, social media, media, and other promotional materials. Unless we are told otherwise, we assume that delegates, speakers, and other Congress participants have given their permission to be photographed and filmed, and for the ETUC to use the images for these purposes. If you do NOT give your permission to be photographed or filmed, you should attach a green sticker to your Congress badge. These stickers are available at registration or from Congress staff.
