This is a reminder of the circular sent on March 13th and April 2nd.

Dear colleagues,

The day before the start of ETUC Congress, the ETUC - Youth Committee with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation organises the seminar "The future of trade unions in Europe – young, digital and organized", which will take place in the hotel Austria Trend Ananas on May 20th from 16h00 to 18h00. The seminar will be followed by a reception until 19:00.

You are all invited to participate at this event, which aims at exploring innovative solutions for organising young workers in the light of the challenges brought to the labour market by emerging atypical forms of employment and the digital economy. We will have the opportunity to learn from inspiratory trade union practices from all over Europe.

Participants to the seminar will be able to take part as observers to the 1st day of the ETUC Congress.

The Friedrich Ebert Foundation will cover the travel and accommodation costs of 30 participants. Interested delegates are asked to kindly contact the ETUC Youth Committee coordinator Ignacio Doreste at their earliest convenience.

Important note addressed to young participants of the national delegations to the ETUC Congress: Please make sure that you arrive to Vienna on Monday 20th on time to take part at this activity. All young delegates to the ETUC Congress are encourage to participate to this seminar.
