Online Meeting on Standard Setting in Platform Work (ILC Follow-up) 10 September 2025

Dear Members,

Please save the date for an important online meeting of European members to discuss the follow-up to the ILC discussions on standard setting in platform work.

The meeting will take place on 10^th September from 14:00-16:00 CET.  

In light of the upcoming publication of the Brown Report (15 August), which will include a questionnaire with a submission deadline of 15 November, it is important that we come together to exchange views and coordinate next steps.

The meeting will provide an opportunity to:

• Discuss the main concerns and difficulties members anticipate; 

• Share perspectives to support a coordinated approach;

• Prepare for national-level discussions and engagement.

Following this exchange, the secretariat (ETUC & ITUC)  will prepare a technical note outlining key arguments and guidance to assist members in drafting responses and engaging with their respective governments.
