CONSEQUENCES OF IMPOSED AUSTERITY
9,000 workers a day have lost their jobs!- About two million people through the country say NO to government labour reforms
"This country is going through to not only to a deep economic but also a social crisis: the use of dismissal as the main mechanism of adjustment to the fall in demand has become a norm”
“Registered unemployment during the month of January is the first confirmation that labour market will continue to worsen in 2012”

{{THERE ARE ALTERNATIVES }}
“These reforms do not meet the general interests of our country, but there are dictated by the financial interests, our country deserves another policy."
“The dismissal will be easier and cheaper" along with a " legalised form of contract with free and open firing rules restricting the workers’ collective rights, while increasing the discretion of employers. The origin of the crisis is neither in the labor market or in the maintenance of the welfare state”.
We need to see alternative policies
• More and better sustainable jobs;
• Access to education, training and jobs;
• Investment in a good education system from early childhood to higher education;
• Permanent contracts to remain the norm.
